A Preface:

Dear Gardener,

I am called to do a deeper dive into the astrology of this moment - in a way I have not been for a while. The first part of the article is a review of what I posted here. (so skip ahead if you’ve already read that post to where it says “Why is Mars the Orchestrator?”)

The second part is a deeper intuitive synthesis of why today feels so important in the grand shift of 2025, based on my studies of astrology but mostly from my intuitive understanding of the geometry and cycles of time.

The Full Moon Review

Today’s full moon is a very important plot point in the larger cosmic cycle.

The top layer of today’s Full Moon is significant because it occurs at the same time as other important cosmic events - that would be news in and of themselves.

THE FULL MOON IN LIBRA:

The Libra Full Moon creates tension between our sense of autonomy and our relationships, between the desire to act instinctively and without self-consciousness, and the need to relate to others.

Observing the tension between our self-ownership and our ability to connect to others gives us important clues about what we need to create balance and justice in our lives. But to make sense of these clues, we must be willing to be with our feelings.

FULL MOON MESSAGE: Irritation can be a clarifier if you don’t judge it, and instead curiously ask what it’s trying to tell you.

SUN AND CHIRON IN ARIES

Chiron (illuminated by the Sun, and across from the Moon) tells us to be honest about what hurts, what we are losing patience for, and the relationship between our ANGER, our HURT, and feeling we can’t exist as we are.

WHAT CHIRON WANTS YOU TO KNOW: Fire can burn us or transform us. Patience and respect go a long way when it comes to working with fire. Our evolution requires us to neither repress nor force our energy.

VENUS & SATURN IN PISCES:

Venus, the ruler of the Full Moon, wants to move forward with a sense of union but needs to understand the rules, limitations, and relational boundaries to do so.

THE MEMO YOU RECEIVE AFTER VENUS MEETS SATURN: When we are willing to do the hard things, relationships become greater than the sum of their parts, and our spirituality becomes grounded.

This next bit is a departure from what I have been taught about astrology, but it’s what I feel from looking at the geometry of this energy.

The Secret Planetary Orchestrator

THERE IS ONE PLANET I FEEL IS ORCHESTRATING THE ENERGY BEHIND THE SCENES, AND IN THAT SENSE, THIS PLANET IS THE KEY TO UNLOCKING THE HEALING ENERGY AVAILABLE TO US IN THIS LUNATION: MARS.

Mars in Cancer represents our instinct to be fierce protectors of what we care about, what we feel a visceral psychic connection to, and what touches our sensitivity. Mars in Cancer brings out the archetype of the mother/inner child in us as a warrior for sacred care,

Why is Mars the Orchestrator?

Astrology is all about geometry, and Mars is playing telephone with many of the celestial bodies.

MARS is the planet that kicked off this relay race or retrograde on December 6th. As the last of these retrograde ends today, April 12th, Mars has some questions for us.

QUESTIONS FROM MARS’S RELATIONSHIP TO THE PLANETS:

Where Mars Adds Friction:

Today Mars is squaring the moon and the sun/Chiron: This puts pressure on us to understand how we are working with our sensitivity.

Mars asks:

Does our sensitivity bring out our desire to protect or our wounded defensiveness?

Are we able to embody care when we are

a) protecting ourselves and our wounds (Aries), and

b) protecting our relationships (Libra)?

Where Mars Adds Support:

Mars is also in supportive aspect to the following planets:

Venus (newly direct in Pisces) - How can protecting what I care about support my relationships, and desire to create beauty?

Saturn (sitting with Venus in Pisces) - How can protecting what I care about support my spiritual discipline?

Mercury (freshly direct since Monday in Pisces) - How can protecting what I care about help me communicate poetically?

Neptune (freshly in Aries). How can protecting what I care about support my ability to translate spiritual insight into action?

and Uranus (in Taurus). How can protecting what I care about support me as I upgrade my electric body?

What This Means: We are being Multidimensionally Upgraded.

We are being given the opportunity to claim parts of ourselves we thought had to cancel each other out or flatten each other into non-existence.

How do we reclaim these parts?:
